Synopsis:
Dan Savage (author of the nationally syndicated column “Savage Love”), is featured in this devilish comedy that opens with a funeral scene that would make Fellini proud. If you tested positive for HIV, how far would you go to reverse your results?? When Simon Desoto gets a positive diagnosis, he goes straight to hell…literally.
After writing Satan several letters imploring his help, the “horned one” responds. As part of a Faustian pact to become negative, Simon must become a homophobic stand-up comic. The plot thickens when Simon’s hate-filled act catches on and Hollywood comes a courting. To hide his true orientation he convinces his female best friend that he’s really straight and proposes marriage. Simon’s final task is straight out of a Twilight Zone episode. |
